We are not an underdog.” —Jaedyn Shaw Those words became Gotham FC's rallying cry during their playoff run, perfectly capturing the grit, determination, and professional excellence that define this team. Their rise wasn’t about luck, but about preparation, perseverance, and conviction: a mindset that inspires me as it does so many others. Massive congratulations to our 2025 NWSL CHAMPIONS, Gotham FC! From last seed to the top of the podium, they not only won the championship but also set a new club attendance record, drawing 115,598 fans to Sports Illustrated Stadium this season. 🏆🏆 Mariya Samardzhieva and I were delighted to join the championship celebration in New York City yesterday, and seeing the team and their fans come together in that moment was unforgettable. I’m incredibly proud to have played a part in this journey. Thank you to our brilliant partners Laura Petro, Paige (Northup) Bright, and Kamilah Sobers at Gotham FC for your trust and collaboration.
