On #GivingTuesday we pause to thank the many non-profit service providers that work with us year round to advance educational opportunities, promote workforce development, improve health outcomes, and create safe neighborhoods. At today's Service Provider Roundtable, our CEO Lourdes Castro Ramirez and Chief of Community Affairs Bureau John King gathered to reflect on 2025 wins, set goals for 2026 and express our gratitude. On this day of giving, we encourage you to consider giving to your nonprofit of choice and we thank the many donors for the generosity. 💙 Boys & Girls Clubs of West San Gabriel Valley and Eastside, Build Hope Inc., Children's Institute, Children Mending Hearts, Greater Los Angeles Scouting, #headstart #losangelesmission, LAPD, #losangelespubliclibrary, Project SOAR, Proyecto Pastoral #REDEYEinc, Street Soccer USA, #voalaca, North Valley Family YMCA

  • Mission accomplished: 670 families successfully relocated. The Legacy Jordan Downs redevelopment has officially turned the page. Thanks to community trust, consistent engagement, and resident-first planning, families have moved from aging units into modern, safe homes—whether through Section 8, transfers to another public housing site, or brand-new units in the new Jordan Downs.

  • We kicked off Thanksgiving with big smiles, full carts, and tons of community love! 🦃💛   HACLA gathered with families at Jordan Downs for our annual Turkey Giveaway, creating moments of gratitude and connection while ensuring every household could enjoy a holiday meal. Shout out to our amazing Community Coaches, Green Ambassadors, Community Ambassadors, and CSP for helping distribute meals, and to The ThinkWatts Foundation for donating the fresh produce boxes.
