Maine Rural Water Association's Annual Conference is coming up soon, and this year’s program includes a valuable session for organizations working through WET and chemistry testing requirements. Last month, ABM MECHANICAL, INC. broke ground on their new fabrication shop and office building, an important step toward unifying their fabrication operations, Bangor Service Division, Electrical Division, and office staff on a single campus. Haley Ward is proud to support this milestone with master planning, site design, architecture, interior design, surveying, and permitting for the new 16,000-sf facility and associated site improvements. From securing funding to designing and overseeing construction of the new treatment system, our team helped the District deliver safer, cleaner water to its community. Connecticut’s waterfront is getting a thoughtful upgrade at Mago Point in Waterford, and our team is proud to support it. Haley Ward’s Connecticut team provided surveying, engineering, permitting, and design services for the Mago Point Parking Lot Improvements project, transforming a sandy overflow area near the State boat launch into a modern, functional lot for both visitors and boaters. The design safely separates car and trailer traffic, improves pedestrian access with 8-foot walkways, and includes elevated electrical infrastructure to support future EV charging and meet coastal floodplain requirements. With coordination from the Town of Waterford, CT DEEP, and van Zelm Engineers, this project is shaping a more resilient, accessible, and efficient waterfront space.
