bp and Halliburton achieve milestone in offshore operations through a new remote service model in the Caspian. This first-of-its-kind execution integrates the LOGIX™ Auto Steer solution with the iCruise® intelligent rotary steerable system. The approach expands our automation footprint and reduces offshore crew by 30 percent, supporting high-activity SIMOPS environments while minimizing HSE exposure and operational costs. Key results: • 100% automated steering over 1426 m (shoe-to-shoe) • Directional target met within 0.6 m accuracy • Auto-downlink enabled platform-driven control for faster decisions This achievement redefines offshore drilling through remote execution and automation. • “To be the best mud engineer from the best mud company in the world," says Miftahul F. Akmal, reflecting on his experience in Baroid Core. This year, Baroid Core, our drilling fluids training program, expanded globally. We held our first session in MENA, bringing together employees for six weeks of classroom work, field visits, and hands-on learning with active fluid systems. At our North Belt Campus in Houston, a second group, including Miftahul, spent several weeks immersed in drilling fluids theory, lab testing, software, and separation equipment. For many, it was their first time working at this level of technical depth. The goal isn’t just to complete training. It’s to build confidence, technical depth, and shared standards to support safe and reliable execution.

  • Halliburton Chairman, President & CEO Jeff Miller visited ExxonMobil Guyana — a key stop in his global engagement with customers and teams. During the visit, discussions centered on collaboration, operational performance, and delivering innovative solutions in one of the world’s fastest-growing energy regions. That same focus on collaboration and performance earned Halliburton recognition as ExxonMobil Wells Alliance Partner of the Quarter. In the Caribbean, our team set a record by drilling a 1,435m lateral in 1.5 days, demonstrating the precision and efficiency that define our execution. Together, these milestones highlight the strength of our alignment with customers to deliver safe, reliable outcomes across the full well lifecycle.
