National senior housing occupancy has exceeded 89% - the highest level in nine years - and we expect the sector to hit a new record by 2026. With limited new construction and a rapidly growing 80+ population, the supply-demand imbalance is becoming increasingly pronounced. We believe this acute supply-demand imbalance points to sustained pricing power for quality operators. In our own same-store senior housing portfolio, year-over-year rent growth exceeded 9% in Q3, more than double the national average of just over 4%.
