At Hope Services, advocacy isn't an add-on, it is core to who we are. Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a reminder of the importance of amplifying the voices of our community. The third pillar of our Bridging Hope Forward Strategic Action Plan, Expand Influence, focuses on strengthening awareness and advancing advocacy. This pillar reflects an essential truth. Hope’s impact cannot end with direct services. It must extend into the systems, policies, and public dialogue that shape opportunities for the people we serve. This commitment reinforces Hope’s position as a growing statewide leader in disability inclusion and equity. In this Hopeful Moments episode, Sara Grignon, Central District Director and Policy Lead, and Hayley Malcolm, Training Manager and DEI Officer, highlight how this pillar is already taking shape. “Not about us, without us.” Participants have joined rallies at the State Capitol and contributed to broader community conversations. 💙 Together, we can expand Hope’s reach, support more families, and deepen our impact!
