National Engineers Week is a time to recognize the dedication, innovation, and problem-solving skills of our engineers!
Theresa Pelkey is our Project & Manufacturing Engineering. She leads a diverse team of Process, Manufacturing, Programming, Continuous Improvement, Packaging, and Project Engineers. Their expertise ensures that new equipment installations, process improvements, and strategic projects align with the company’s long-term goals. Through cross-functional collaboration and commitment to efficiency, Pelkey and her team work tirelessly to enhance operations, support maintenance, and deliver impactful solutions that keep production running at its best.
From an early age, Pelkey embraced challenge, she chose to be a chemical engineer after a teacher told her it would be "really hard." That drive to push boundaries and continually take on problems has shaped her to be the leader and engineer she is today.
Engineering is not just about technical expertise. One’s ability to lead and build relationships fosters success. As an engineer she knows the importance of clear directions when it comes to efficiency, “I ensure we brainstorm together solutions, get stakeholders involved early in projects and involve them in the end decisions—ensuring everyone's voice is heard at the table.”
It is the passion for problem-solving and a people-first mindset that built her career to both improve manufacturing processes and empower those around her. Pelkey and her team continue to aid in the development of Trilliant and Horseshoe.
This week, we celebrate Theresa and all our engineers for their dedication and impact. Thank you for all you do!
