ICBD recognizes a milestone that will shape talent, research, and access for years to come. Our Founder and Chairman, Christopher M. Barnett, has committed a record $55 million to Temple University, the largest gift in the university’s history. With this commitment, Temple’s College of Public Health will be known as The Christopher M. Barnett College of Public Health. During an event on the Temple campus last Friday morning, Mr. Barnett affirmed his commitment to public health and why he was moved to give at this moment in time: “At a time when public health is under attack by misinformation and funding cuts, my family and I asked ourselves how we could be part of the solution – and how we could help create the change we wish to see in the world.
