It was great spending the morning in the Milwaukee community at the i.c.stars |* Milwaukee iOpener/HR Roundtable! Thanks to Blanca Gonzales and Tammie Brings who worked so hard to pull it off. Initial impressions: HR has such a critical role right now to nail the right job descriptions for open roles, not being overly specific, but also not falling behind with the speed of change. Technology leaders value hands on experience more than formal classroom training. In person connections still matter! Bringing a room of technology, IT, HR, corporate sponsors, and sales people in a room together on a Thursday morning in downtown Milwaukee creates some magic.
