Last night, we continued celebrating 10 years of Kode With Klossy in NYC, and it was nothing short of incredible. Here’s a recap of the unforgettable night: Karlie Kloss shared her reflections on the last 10 years – from her very first coding lesson to Kode With Klossy’s current global community of 12,000 alumni. Kayley Chery, Georgia Russello, and Alexis Williams, KWK alumni, spoke about the immense and powerful impact Kode With Klossy had on their respective journeys. Naomi Gleit, one of our incredible event co-hosts, announced the Naomi Gleit Scholarship – funding programming for 10 members of our community to participate in our new portfolio of programs to prepare and develop talent for the AI-powered workforce. Jenny Just, our second trailblazing event co-host, talked about the ways poker teaches you to make decisions with incomplete information, calculate risk versus reward in real-time, read patterns, allocate capital strategically, and take your seat at the table with confidence. Jenny’s organization, Poker Power, will be partnering with KWK to build a custom program that explores these critical skills alongside AI-assisted coding skills. We ended our event playing poker and learning from Poker Power’s incredible instructors. Thank you to everyone who has supported our programs over the years — including our event host committee: Amy Griffin, Jen Rubio, Kim Posnett, Stephanie Cohen. Thank you to the Kode With Klossy team who work passionately to put on meaningful programming for each and every scholar. And lastly, thank you to our community members who embody KWK magic and mission. We are so proud of everything this community has accomplished over the last 10 years, and are unbelievably excited about what we will do in the next 10.
