We extend our heartfelt gratitude to #AsianPacificFund for your continued partnership and unwavering support. Your dedication to our organization and the AANHPI community inspires us and strengthens our efforts to make a meaningful impact. Thank you for standing with us every step of the way!
Today, in celebration of #KoreanAmericanDay, the Asian Pacific Fund shines the spotlight on one of our incredible nonprofit affiliates, Korean American Community Services - Silicon Valley (KACS). Since its founding in 1979, KACS has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for #KoreanAmericans in #SantaClara County, particularly seniors and individuals from low-income communities. Through their work, KACS connects the community to essential resources, promotes civic engagement, and creates opportunities for meaningful involvement. KACS is also part of APF's inaugural Accelerating Capacity for Transformation (ACT) for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPIs) Fund cohort. Over the next two years, KACS and five other APF affiliates are receiving $100,000 in funding, culturally tailored mentorship, capacity-building support, and resources to strengthen and expand their programs and impact. More than just financial support, the APF ACT for AANHPIs Fund is a movement to empower AANHPI nonprofits by fostering an ecosystem where funders, community leaders, and nonprofits collaborate to address the evolving needs of the AANHPI population. Together, we are building an ecosystem of culturally competent capacity builders and mentors to help these nonprofits grow, thrive, and gain visibility. Thank you to our partners at KACS for their inspiring work in uplifting the #KoreanAmerican community in Santa Clara County!
