What began in a single children’s hospital has grown into a program that’s touched over 35,000 lives at top-ranked pediatric hospitals across the country. Patients choose their favorite stones and metal styles, creating a special piece of jewelry, while our Kendra Scott team builds meaningful connections with them along the way. Today is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, but at Kendra Scott, we call it Holley Day. 💗 Holley Kitchen is my dear friend who passed away from metastatic breast cancer in 2016, pictured here with myself, and with her sister Missy Hobbs. 💗 After she was gone, we wanted to keep her memory alive while helping other families like hers. This is how Kendra Scott started our relationship with Inheritance of Hope. Holley attended an Inheritance of Hope Legacy Retreat®, providing lasting memories with her family and a support group of other families facing the same hardships. 20% of today’s sales will help fund Inheritance of Hope Legacy Retreats through the Kendra Scott Foundation. Meet Dawn Simmons and Katie DeRouen, a mother and a sister to Lindy Rae Simmons. 💛 In December 2021, Dawn and Katie’s worlds changed forever when they lost Lindy, her brother Christopher, and her sister Kamryn to a drunk driver. After the accident, our team was connected with the family as they worked to honor the memory of their loved ones. Dawn shared what a huge fan Lindy was of Kendra Scott, always wearing her Elisa Necklace in berry glass. After several successful fundraising events, Dawn and Katie worked with Kendra and our design team to create a piece that represented Lindy. The Lindy Rae necklace, an iteration of Lindy’s cherished Elisa necklace, launched Holiday 2024 and the rest is history.
