Yesterday, we celebrated our co-CEO Steve Fleming as he prepares to retire after more than three decades of dedicated service. Steve's steady leadership, heart for people ability to build strong, unified teams have shaped Kintura in countless ways. We marked the moment with pizza and cake — a small celebration before a bigger one to come. Thank you, Steve, for your hard work, your guidance and your unwavering commitment to our mission. About us
Kintura was established in 2024 through the merger of Brightspire and The Well-Spring Group, allowing us to better serve the needs of older adults. At the heart of our mission are our life plan communities, which offer a wide range of independent living options. Each community has its own unique environment, culture, and amenities, ensuring that residents can find a space that truly feels like home. We also provide a comprehensive continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory support. In addition to community living, Kintura is dedicated to supporting a diverse population of older adults. Through Well-Spring Solutions, we offer adult day services, respite programs, home care, and caregiver education. As a majority partner in PACE of the Triad, we provide all-inclusive care in multiple North Carolina counties. We also work on affordable housing initiatives in Raleigh, further strengthening our commitment to the community we serve.

This month marks my 15th anniversary with Kintura, a journey that began back when we were still known as The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. I spent my first six years proudly serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Glenaire, and for the past nine years I’ve had the privilege of supporting all our communities through our Management Services Office. I am incredibly grateful to have spent these years working alongside such exceptionally talented, mission-driven colleagues, people who are genuinely passionate about creating quality communities, services, and experiences for older adults. Thank you to my Kintura family for 15 wonderful years. It’s been an honor to grow through each chapter and I’m more excited than ever for what’s ahead as we continue to evolve under inspiring leadership and build Kintura’s future together.
