I had the absolute pleasure and honor to attend my first ever International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (International Emmy Awards). This was an entirely new group of people to meet for me including some of the world's leaders in TV content, acting, production, editing, and distribution. As a technologist I found myself at first as a fish out of the water, but then I realized that Kiswe's streaming tech and in particular the D2C streaming business model is super relevant for them. So I made a lot of new friends and contacts and for sure will be back next year. I also have some plans to nominate TV content for an Emmy as well as people for TV Academy membership. Below is a picture of me with the first actress I have ever met, the famed Joanna Kalafatis from the Netflix series Maestro.
