In the late fall of 1897, something remarkable took root. Montreal Council No. 284, our very first council in Canada, was established. As we look toward a new year of charitable works and spiritual growth among our Canadian Knights, families, friends and partners, join us in celebrating 128 years of faith, fraternity, and service to all – far and wide. “Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.” (Matthew 24:37-44) As Advent begins, Jesus calls us to spiritual wakefulness, not fear, but readiness.
