We just wrapped up the first phase of Lake Trust’s Emerging Leaders program with a powerful day of learning, connection, and inspiration. 🎉 The day kicked off by welcoming a guest speaker, Caroline Vahrenkamp from the Filene Research Institute, who shared insights on how top-performing credit unions elevate member experiences and lead innovation across the industry. Later, we had the privilege of hearing from Omari Boone, EVP of General Counsel, and Chief Risk Officer at Lake Trust, who shared his personal journey and leadership lessons from growing his career within the organization. To close out the day, our Emerging Leaders reflected on key themes from this phase of the program, reinforcing core leadership skills and setting their sights on what comes next in their development journey. The future of leadership at Lake Trust is bright.
