𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: 𝐀 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 Community Impact recently highlighted Leander’s 78641 ZIP code as the #4 “𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝- 𝐓𝐨” 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐢𝐧 2025, according to MovingPlace. More than 3,300 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 arrived in just the first five months of the year. From an economic development perspective, this trend speaks volumes: 🟢 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥 – Companies follow people. A steady influx of residents creates demand for retail, restaurants, medical services, and professional offices while strengthening the labor pool for advanced industries. 🟢 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 + 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 – Planned communities and new housing options provide diverse choices, reinforcing Leander as both a residential and business destination. 🟢 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 – Proximity to Austin’s tech and innovation corridor provides access to jobs, capital, and culture—while Leander offers the space and affordability that fuel long-term sustainability. This recognition builds on U.S. News & World Report rankings that placed Leander #8 “𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔.𝐒.” and #3 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 earlier this year, underscoring a consistent narrative: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚 “𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭” 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲—𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲. For businesses considering expansion, the message is clear: Leander is where growth is happening. Our momentum is not just about people moving here—it’s about creating a strong, resilient economy that supports both residents and employers.
