We’re excited to share that LEAP’s Managing Partner Josh K. is featured in this month’s issue of Laboratory Economics, weighing in on why digital pathology add-on codes still see limited adoption. Josh explains that without reimbursement or mandatory reporting, most labs focus on what moves the needle now: reducing turn-around-time, case routing, and pathologist efficiency. Coding automation remains a lower priority until vendors can integrate the add-on codes directly into laboratory information systems. Are you focused on digitally transforming your lab? Whether its pathology, LIMS, automation, or RCM, LEAP can help. DM us to connect. That’s a wrap on #AMPath2025! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to chat, connect, and swap ideas with the LEAP team at AMP2025! We appreciated the conversations and chance to share how LEAP supports across molecular diagnostics. If you missed the event (or preferred to travel light), we’re happy to share digital versions of the case studies featured at our booth: - LIMS Implementation - Test Compendium - Risk-Based Validation - LIMS Selection - Agile Methodologies - PLA Strategy Many more are available as well - tell us what’s on your mind… DM us your email and we’ll send them right over. Happy reading!

We’ve touched down in Boston for #AMPath2025, and Booth 247 is officially taking shape! Not to brag, but our table is looking pretty sharp (and yes, that empty bowl will be filled with candy soon)! Swing by to grab some LEAP merch or to chat about what’s new in your lab. We can’t wait to meet you!

The countdown to #AMP2025 is on, and the LEAP team is ready! You’ll find us at Booth #247, where Josh K., Jessica P., and Victoria Karcz will be talking all things digital transformation, LIMS, automation, and what’s next for molecular diagnostics. Whether you are focused on LIMS and bench-workflow, revenue-cycle, cost-per-test, ERP, or making your validated Part 11 and CLIA systems faster…come say hi, share what you’re working on, or just geek out with us about what’s new in the field. See you soon, Boston! #MolecularDiagnostics #LabInnovation #LIMS #Diagnostics #LEAPConsultingGroup

Fresh from #ASHG2025, one message was clear: labs don’t have an innovation problem—they have an implementation problem. Three takeaways stood out: 1️⃣ Execution is the real bottleneck. Great strategies often stall when delivery meets the complexity of regulated lab environments. Everyone has a plan—few have the capacity to get it live. 2️⃣ Readiness is easy to overestimate. Projects look manageable on paper...until validation, data migration, and change management come into play. 3️⃣ Data is still everyone’s problem—and no one’s job. Ownership remains fragmented, yet it’s the backbone of every decision, integration, and assay expansion. The labs that fix this first will move faster than the rest. We’ve seen these challenges firsthand—most recently helping a client rescue a stalled LIMS implementation and bring it across the finish line without resetting timelines or compliance. If this resonates, we just created a new case study that dives into how it was done. DM us your email, and we’ll send you the full story! #Genomics #LIMS #LabTransformation #DiagnosticsInnovation

It’s been a great start to ASHG 2025 in Boston! 🦞 I’ve reconnected with familiar faces and met so many new ones—each conversation offering fresh perspectives on how our field continues to evolve. As a Geneticist, this conference is always a highlight, and I’m certainly looking forward to the rest of the week’s discussions. If you’re attending ASHG (or are in Boston) and would like to connect with Yuriy Shevchenko, PhD and I, please don’t hesitate to reach out: heather.williams@leapcg.com —we’d love to say hello!

The science shaping tomorrow starts with the conversations happening today. LEAP will be on the ground at this year's American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Meeting, where innovation in genomics meets the realities of the lab. Our very own Life Sciences Practice Leaders, Heather E. Williams, PhD, MBA, MS, PgD, ErCLG, CG(ASCP)MB and Yuriy Shevchenko, PhD will both be attending—ready to connect, share insights, and learn how labs are navigating the next wave of growth and discovery. If you see Heather or Yuriy, don’t hesitate to say hello or spark a conversation—these exchanges are where some of the best ideas begin. See you in Boston!

At #NYSCLA2025, Leap’s very own Josh K. shared how labs can leverage software, automation, and AI to address some of the sector’s most pressing challenges—scaling operations, reducing unbillables, and cutting down TNPs. Josh was joined by Heather E. Williams, PhD, MBA, MS, PgD, ErCLG, CG(ASCP)MB and Victoria Karcz, who also had a great time connecting with fellow industry leaders shaping the future of diagnostics. We would like to extend a special thank you to Jane Pine Wood, Noah Ginsberg, and the entire New York State Clinical Laboratory Association board for curating such a thoughtful and engaging meeting. We’re grateful for the exchange of ideas at this year’s conference and are already looking forward to the next!

When Leap first partnered with Sapio Sciences back in 2014, the digital lab landscape looked very different. What hasn't changed is our shared commitment to helping labs work better — with more intelligent systems, streamlined processes, and scalable infrastructure. Over the years, we've partnered with some of the most innovative diagnostics companies in the world, solving complex problems in compliance, operations, and clinical data management. Our collaboration with Sapio has allowed us to bring that expertise to life through real transformation in lab settings. We're proud to release a new joint solution brief that highlights the impact we continue to make together. It's a snapshot of where the industry is headed — and how we're helping labs get there.
