🌎👩🏫 Lee County is proud to continue our long-standing partnership with the School District of Lee County through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that funds a Helping Teacher and bus transportation for environmental education field trips. Through this program, local students get hands-on experiences that bring classroom lessons to life, such as exploring the Lee County Solid Waste Resource Recovery Campus to see how waste is managed and visiting the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve to learn about wetlands, wildlife and water conservation. These opportunities inspire the next generation of environmental stewards while connecting students directly with the natural resources in their community. 💚 #LeeCounty #EnvironmentalEducation #FutureStewards #LeeCountySchools
