📍 Lake Tahoe Summit 2025 🌊 At Lefrancois Engineering, we were honored to attend today’s Lake Tahoe Summit at Valhalla Tahoe, where the legendary Clem Shute received the Dianne Feinstein Lake Tahoe Award for his decades of dedication to protecting this incredible place we call home. Clem gave us a moving history lesson on the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA)from its founding in the late 1960s, through legal battles in the 1980s, to the bipartisan unity that continues today. His leadership helped guide TRPA through challenges and bring California and Nevada together in shared stewardship of Lake Tahoe. 💙 We’re proud to follow TRPA’s journey and witness the continued support for the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act, ensuring this jewel of a lake is preserved for generations to come. #LakeTahoeSummit #TRPA #EnvironmentalStewardship #BipartisanSupport #LefrancoisEngineering #TahoeChampion #DianneFeinsteinAward

Our water systems are not designed to fight major wildfires, plain and simple. While most systems can see minor improvements through optimization it will require unique and extreme regional commitments to build new and wildfire specific infrastructure, if even feasible, to stand up against these events.
