💙 What a moment. Last week, I stood alongside my team as we were recognized for a CPR save during a Memphis Grizzlies game earlier this year at FedExForum. Right before tipoff, in front of a packed arena, a fan collapsed courtside. Within seconds, our team jumped into action. Because of quick thinking, solid teamwork, and the training we rely on every day, that person survived…and walked out of the hospital just a few days later. I can still remember the music playing, lights flashing, and the clock ticking. Then everything stopped. The entire arena went silent. Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest has a survival rate of less than 10 percent. But early CPR, rapid defibrillation, and a dedicated team can make all the difference. We don’t do this job for recognition. But moments like this remind us why we train, why we prepare, and why we show up.
