After hearing about PDG Mac Ferguson's need for a kidney donor at Lexington Lions Club meetings, Lion Christi felt inspired to make the sacrifice of a lifetime for a Lion who had sacrificed so much of himself to the community. She soon started the process to donate her kidney and was declared a perfect match for Ferguson. Multiple tests later, Christi underwent successful surgery and gave Ferguson an extraordinary gift.
