LISC LA was grateful for the opportunity to support Inclusive Action for the City during their holiday food distribution for local street vendors and their families. This effort came together because many households are facing an especially difficult year. Through collaboration across partners and donors, more than 120 baskets and tote bags filled with food and essential supplies were distributed across Los Angeles. We’re thankful for Inclusive Action’s leadership and for everyone who contributed. It’s a meaningful reminder of how collective support strengthens the communities we all serve.

"As we move into the final stretch of the year, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all of you: our stakeholders, community partners, and funders who make our work possible. Your commitment and collaboration have been the driving force behind everything we’ve accomplished together in 2025. This year has brought both challenges and opportunities, and through it all, your support has allowed us to respond with creativity and resilience. From advancing housing and economic development initiatives to launching programs like the Rebuild Lab for fire-impacted businesses, we’ve seen firsthand the power of partnership in action. Thank you for believing that LISC LA is capable of continuing this work after more than 40 years. Our shared vision for a thriving Los Angeles with opportunity for all is what keeps us moving forward. We look forward to continuing this journey with you in the months ahead and will share exciting updates soon. Together, we are making a lasting impact." With gratitude and determination, Nicole Williams Executive Director, LISC LA

We are honored to share that LISC LA has received a generous grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation in support of our work to assist those affected by the 2025 wildfires here in Los Angeles, which destroyed more than 18,000 homes and businesses. This investment from the Hilton Foundation is a powerful vote of confidence in our mission, and it will help us to build and launch a fund aimed at rebuilding multi-family homes and commercial corridors, restoring vital housing and small businesses, restoring not just infrastructure, but the economic and social fabric of the communities most affected. To the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation: thank you for your trust, partnership, and commitment to creating a more equitable and compassionate world. We’re proud to work alongside you in this important effort. #Gratitude #Philanthropy #Partnership #Impact #SocialGood

LISC LA was honored to attend the Coramino Cup 2025, an inspiring celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community led by Kevin Hart and Gran Coramino Tequila. The event spotlighted the passion and skill of bartenders nationwide who embody the same entrepreneurial drive that fuels our work with the Coramino Fund, supporting small business growth through grants and education. The energy, talent, and spirit of the evening were nothing short of unforgettable. #CraftCocktails #CommunityEvent #EntrepreneurSpirit

Mayana’s Body Butters started as a way to heal Mayana Geathers and David Geathers's daughter’s eczema and quickly became a local favorite in Altadena. Operating out of their home, the family poured everything into the business, until the Eaton Fire forced them to evacuate. Their equipment and inventory were damaged by smoke and contamination, and months of progress were lost. Through it all, they’ve stayed focused on rebuilding and supporting their community. Mayana’s Body Butters continues to share its mission of care, healing, and wellness with the Altadena community and beyond. #LISCLAWildfireRecoveryGrant #SupportSmallBusiness Wells Fargo Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Sarah Adams Gregg Sherkin Mario Holten, M.B.A. Justine D. Violet Dominguez built New Vibe Gymnastics from her home into a beloved children’s gymnastics center in Pacific Palisades. When the Palisades fire destroyed the facility, she lost not only the space but the close-knit community that grew inside it. With help from LISC LA’s Wildfire Relief Grant, funded by Wells Fargo, she’s creating a new space in Santa Monica where kids can regain confidence, connection, and joy. #LISCLAWildfireReliefGrant #supportlocalbusiness Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Sarah Adams Gregg Sherkin Mario Holten, M.B.A. Justine D.
