With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, we are particularly proud of efforts to reduce food insecurity in North Texas. Medical City Healthcare, supported by the HCA Healthcare Foundation, joined the American Heart Association - Texas and the North Texas Food Bank in supporting a school-based food pantry at Uplift Infinity Preparatory in Irving. This pantry is expected to provide more than 360,000 meals annually to students and their families. #WeShowUp #CaringForTheCommunity

National Injury Prevention Day is an opportunity for hospitals across the U.S. to raise awareness about reducing preventable injuries, which are the leading cause of death for people age 44 and younger. Teams across Medical City Healthcare treat injuries every day but our greatest success is preventing them before they happen. Tonight, hospitals and communities will shine green lights to remind everyone that injury prevention saves lives. Medical City Healthcare will join the effort by illuminating our campuses.
