There’s no such thing as seasonality in retail media!!! Even if it’s the dead of winter and you’re an ice cream brand - it’s not time to turn off spend. On the flip side, even if it’s Thanksgiving and you’re a cranberry brand… sponsored search budget should only move if you intend to sustain it at that spend level. Why? Because retail media is: 1) Still a small facet of retail (At the highest, retailers like Walmart and Kroger expect ~20% of sales to come from digital orders)… …but 2) GROWING - and growing so much, that you should be seeing natural growth no matter the season as more shoppers get added to the platform every day. At Veriti, we’re consistently lapping our own results - even for brands that have worked with us for 2+ years. Don’t wait for the “right” season to see growth.
