Denver House is a welcoming drop-in center in Tulsa where adults experiencing mental illness or homelessness can find support, connection and a place to breathe. Visitors can join peer-run groups, take part in daily activities, meet with case managers, access hygiene items, get snacks, catch a van ride or get help navigating services. Everything at Denver House is built on peer support, so staff understand what participants are going through and meet them with respect and care. MHAOK’s Street Outreach and Rapid Response teams walk alongside people experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, building trust and connecting them to care that lasts. In 2024, 1,551 people received services through Street Outreach, and over 3,000 calls to Oklahoma City’s Community Response Team led to help, not handcuffs.
