AI is a powerful tool, but it isn’t perfect. Confidentiality issues, unreliable outputs, and ethical concerns can create real problems. Fortunately, there are practical safeguards every law firm can put in place. #AI #artificialintelligence #tech #lawfirms #law

Standing in a hotel in London last week, a guy walked up to introduce himself. It was Jeff Kwait. We were in the same fraternity at the University of Arizona but had not seen each other since 1989. He told me he recognized me from social media. We met up for dinner one evening and took a long walk through the city. It was awesome to catch up with him. Then my friend Jason Hennessey reached out. He happened to be in London and saw one of my posts and reached out. We connected for breakfast. I went to London to spend time with my daughter Lexie, and we had an amazing time. But moments like these with Jeff and Jason remind me why I share some of my life online. The likes and the views are fine, but I love the unexpected connections it can spark. You never know who’s out there, watching, remembering, and ready to say hello at just the right moment. A familiar face in an unfamiliar place can turn a great trip into something unforgettable. And that’s the magic of showing up online.

Two days ago, I joined WJBK-TV FOX 2 Detroit to talk about what is expected to be the busiest holiday travel season in years, especially with the government shutdown pushing even more people onto the roads. I did not go on TV to talk about laws or lawsuits. I went on because this time of year is personal. More cars. More stress. More distractions. More impaired drivers, especially on the night before Thanksgiving, one of the biggest bar nights of the year. More slippery roads. And more preventable crashes. As a personal injury lawyer, I have sat with families whose lives changed in a single second. One glance at a phone, one decision to drive after drinking, one moment of rushing. That is why my message on Fox 2 was simple: 🚗 Slow down. 📵 Put your phone to the side. 🎶 Set your GPS and music before you start driving. Treat it like taking a flight. 🍺 Do not drive impaired. Plan your transportation ahead of time. As we move deeper into the holiday season, our firm will once again be offering free rides on New Year’s Eve to help make sure people get home safely. No questions asked. I am proud to work at Mike Morse Law Firm, a team that puts community safety first and continues to serve people across Michigan with care and integrity. If anyone ever needs help or guidance, 855-MIKE-WINS is always available. Thank you to Fox 2 Detroit for having me on and giving me the space to share a message that truly matters during this season. I also shared what to do if you are in a crash: 1️⃣ Get to safety 2️⃣ Call 911 3️⃣ Take photos 4️⃣ Exchange information 5️⃣ Get checked out medically, even if you feel fine 6️⃣ Do not make side deals on the road 7️⃣ Contact your insurance and your attorney You deserve protection. You deserve support. And my firm is here to help. At the end of the day, holiday crashes do not just happen. They are preventable, and one good decision behind the wheel can protect everything and everyone that matters.

Success is never a finish line, and challenges are never the end of the story. What defines real progress is the resilience to keep moving, learning, and improving — especially when the path isn’t easy. As we step into a new week, remember that consistency, courage, and a willingness to continue are the qualities that move teams, leaders, and organizations forward. Start strong. Stay focused. Keep going. #mondaymotivation #quotes #success #determination #churchill
