Have you heard? For the first time ever, the National Championship Air Races & Air Show is coming to Roswell, NM! After decades in Reno, this legendary event that features multiple classes of racing, static displays, military demonstrations, and more, will now take flight at the Roswell International Air Center. We at Molzen Corbin are especially thrilled to welcome the Air Races, having contributed to many of the improvements and projects at the Roswell Air International Center that make hosting an event like this possible. From regional airfields to major hubs, our Airport Infrastructure Team has helped shape New Mexico’s skies with projects both large and small. With expertise spanning design and construction, grant drawdowns and reimbursements, architectural and electrical services, construction observation, DBE participation and SWPPP compliance, airport marketing support and more, our engineers and supporting staff bring a full range of services to every airport project. Some of our recent contributions include the new terminals at the Clovis Regional Airport and Santa Fe Regional Airport, infrastructure support for Spaceport America, runway rehabilitation at Raton Municipal Airport, and ongoing improvements at the Albuquerque International Sunport. Each of these projects reflect the innovation, versatility, and dedication our aviation team brings to New Mexico’s communities. Through decades of dedication, we’ve built a strong reputation for delivering safe, efficient, and lasting aviation solutions, earning the trust of communities across the state. Our founders, Dayton Molzen and Al Corbin, were not only accomplished engineers but also licensed pilots and aviation enthusiasts, whose passion for flight helped shape a legacy of designing safer, more efficient airfields across New Mexico. That legacy continues today as our aviation team proudly delivers projects that support both large and small communities statewide. Today, we celebrate National Aviation Day by honoring the dedicated professionals, both past and present, who advance aviation technology and infrastructure and keep this vital industry soaring.

After more than two decades in the making, we’re thrilled to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Los Lunas Corridor and I-25 Interchange project! Molzen Corbin is honored to have been a part of this project since its inception. From the earliest planning and design phases to today’s groundbreaking, we’ve witnessed firsthand the dedication, vision, and collaboration it has taken to bring this major infrastructure project to life. This milestone is not only a historic moment for the Village Of Los Lunas, but also for the countless community members, local leaders, engineers, planners, and supporting agencies who have worked tirelessly to make it possible. The new corridor and interchange will improve connectivity, enhance safety, and open doors for growth and opportunity in the region for generations to come. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has played a role in this journey, and a special congratulations to the Village of Los Lunas for hosting such a momentous event. We are excited to see the next phase of this vision take shape!
