Today, our school leaders came together for our monthly Leadership Meeting to dig into our Quarter 3 — or Rigor 2 — organizational goals. We reviewed critical benchmarks across Attendance, Staff Culture, and Academics, grounding our conversation in scholar habits and outcomes, as well as leader and teacher action plans. At Momentum Academy, we know progress doesn’t happen in isolation. It takes alignment, ownership, and buy-in at every level to move our scholars, our teams, and our organization On the Rise. Momentum Academy leaders joined education innovators from across #Missouri to reflect, learn, and plan for the future of public education during the 2025 Missouri Charter Public School Association Conference! The conference opened with “Opening Welcome & State of the Sector: Then and Now,” followed by an inspiring keynote from Geoffrey Canada, President of the Harlem Children’s Zone. His message challenged us to continue creating schools that not only educate—but empower—by building powerful partnerships to support every child’s success. Our leaders also dove into breakout sessions exploring the future of AI in education, learning from innovative schools, making grade-level content accessible, and personal organization for impact—all aligning with Momentum’s commitment to growth, excellence, and community. We are proud to share that Momentum Academy has been recognized by the PRiME Center at SLU’s 3-Year Growth Reports for exceptional academic growth between 2022 and 2024! Tower Grove East ranked 15th statewide in mathematics growth among K–8 schools. Tower Grove East and Tower Grove South also earned additional recognition for strong academic growth in both Math and English Language Arts.
