Last week, I wrapped up my summer internship at Mueller Sports Medicine, Inc.. I’m beyond grateful for this experience, it not only brought incredible learning opportunities, professional growth, and memorable moments, but also gave me the chance to learn from inspiring mentors, contribute to meaningful projects, and build confidence in myself and my future career. My marketing internship at Mueller Sports Medicine wrapped up on Friday, I’ve been reflecting on an incredible summer full of learning, growth, and great people. I was welcomed into a team that values innovation, hard work, the customer, and fun. I had the chance to dive deep into marketing tactics, explore product knowledge around braces and tapes, and understand the connection between performance, recovery, athletes, and normal people who rely on these products every day. One of the highlights of my experience was getting involved beyond the desk, running the booth at the Sauk City Crawfish Boil with my fellow interns participating in the company golf outing, and attending team events that really showed me what a strong and supportive work culture looks like. These experiences gave me insight into how marketing connects with community and brand presence in meaningful ways. I also got the change to debut in my modeling career for Mueller’s “Play Like A Pro” campaign. These photo shoots was amazing to see the behind the scenes activities that are crucial for what makes a marketing campaign successful. I’m incredibly grateful for Aaron Boos, Julie Garcia-Sotak, Stacie L., Shelby Faherty, and Spencer Shapiro I thank you all for your mentorship and guidance this summer, you are an amazing marketing team. I also want to thank John Cayer and Brett Mueller for giving me the opportunity to be part of something special this summer. Thank you to the entire Mueller team for making this internship not only a valuable learning experience but also a fun and memorable one. Here is a look into skills and experiences that I gained this summer * Redesigning Therm-X and updating Revive landing pages. * Prepared marketing materials for the NATA Trade Show. * Participated in the production of product videos for Therm-X and Revive. * Prepared and distributed product launch kits for the regional sales team. * Created A+ content for new and existing product listings. * Wrote social media scripts for a partnership with Donald Driver. * Helped manage and create content for the Mueller TikTok account with a regular cadence. * Conducted market analysis for injuries based on need state research. * Developed insights that informed marketing strategy. Thank you again to everyone at Mueller for welcoming me, challenging me, and inspiring me. I’m proud of what I accomplished and even more excited to carry these experiences forward into my future. #internship #Muellerstrong #Muellersportsmedicine

2025 VARC, Inc. Golf Invitational in the books! 🏌️♀️Yesterday, we hosted our 28th annual partnership golf event in Reedsburg. This year, we had plenty to celebrate between our 50th anniversary and our upcoming merger with VPI, Inc. and took the day to be reminded of how our invited guests are so impactful toward reaching those milestones. We were honored to welcome back our long standing customers and partners, like Mueller Sports Medicine, Inc. and Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC), and made new connections such as those with Ashley Furniture Industries. AND (brag alert) I hit a new personal record drive at 227 yards!

Marketing and Business Analytics student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse

Last week, I wrapped up my summer internship at Mueller Sports Medicine, Inc. as a PIC intern. This experience provided me with the opportunity to learn more about operations and the supply chain, while also gaining hands-on experience both inside and outside the office. I learned so much about the complexities of operations, the importance of collaboration, and what it takes to keep a business running smoothly. I also worked closely with our subcontractors at Mueller, specifically by placing purchase orders and tracking inventory/material issues. I am extremely thankful to have not only gained these new skills, but also a deeper understanding of what Mueller Sports Medicine does. As a Sauk Prairie native, I enjoyed learning about just how much Mueller does and contributes to the sports medicine world. I especially enjoyed using the REVIVE after a long work week 😊 A huge thank you to everyone at Mueller Sports Medicine, and especially to Dave Rauls, Tom Moss, and Patrick Griffin, for being amazing mentors and leaders for me this summer. Also, a big thank you to John Cayer and Brett Mueller for giving me this amazing opportunity. I'm beyond grateful for this experience and for the people who made it so special (especially all of my new intern friends). I am excited to use the skills I've learned this summer as I continue to grow in my career! #MuellerReady #MuellerSportsMedicine #Interns

Consumer Insights Intern at Mueller Sports Medicine | Business Student at University of Wisconsin-Madison

As I head back to campus and reflect on the summer behind me, I feel incredibly lucky to have spent it as a Consumer Insights Intern on the Marketing and Innovation team at Mueller Sports Medicine, Inc. This summer offered me a remarkable opportunity to refine my market research and consumer insights skills in a unique CPG context. Some of the highlights included: • Leading buyer insights initiatives grounded in both qualitative and quantitative research to craft shopper journeys and narratives that resonated with buyers • Simulating module resets to better understand potential opportunities at shelf • Creating athletic trainer personas through survey research that informed institutional sales strategies • Contributing to competitor analysis and strategic discussions alongside cross functional stakeholders • Exploring whitespace opportunities and collaborating with innovation and product development teams on future pipeline enhancements I am so grateful for Julie Garcia-Sotak whose thoughtful leadership helped me grow by encouraging me to step confidently into new challenges and expand my skillset through a variety of impactful projects. I also want to thank Aaron Boos, and Nickolas Ingram for welcoming me into important projects and discussions—their support truly guided my growth. And to Brett Mueller and John Cayer, thank you for shaping an impactful internship experience that felt both hands-on and real-world. This experience strengthened my technical expertise and revealed the strategies and complexities of working in the CPG health and wellness space. As I return to academics, I carry these new skills, clarity, and deep gratitude forward. I am excited for what lies ahead!
