Wrapping up an unforgettable last few weeks at NetJets! Today, I had the opportunity to present my final intern project to leadership- a rewarding way to end the summer and to see the work of my fellow interns! I am especially grateful for the chance to work alongside the amazing Sales Operations team this summer. A sincere thank you to Anne Altendorf for the incredible mentorship and support throughout the entire experience. Some standout moments included a ferry flight to Chicago and White Plains for a NetJets exclusive facility tour with Caterina Damico, volunteering at the Van Buren Center, and watching my parents take a ferry flight to Valencia, Spain. A huge thank you to Lizzie Salemi and Annie Stammen for leading such an impactful program. It’s been an absolute pleasure to intern at NetJets this summer!

Today marks the last day of my internship at NetJets and I would like to take a moment to reflect on all that I have experienced and learned. I had the opportunity to engage in emerging talent efforts as the Talent Acquisition Intern with my mentor, Lizzie Salemi. Her ongoing support and guidance allowed me to further develop my HR skills and knowledge of recruiting. Some of the incredible opportunities I had throughout my time are: - Create a tiered school strategy in order to streamline our recruiting efforts for the Information Technology department - Assist the recruiting team by phone interviewing candidates for the Scheduling Specialist position in Flight Operations - Organize and plan intern events for our cohort such as our National Intern Day celebration and info sessions - Network and build relationships with executive leadership team members across all departments - Build and teach my own professional development workshop from scratch with help from the talented Kim Hopcraft - Facilitate my team in hosting the Executive Jet Management interns - Presented my final project to our executive leadership team, including the president of NetJets - Attend an Aviation Maintenance Career Fair at Columbus State Everything I was able to accomplish this summer was extremely valuable in my development as an aspiring HR professional. I could not have done it without Lizzie Salemi and Annie Stammen. Thank you so much to everyone on the Talent Acquisition team at NetJets! #OnlyNetJets ✈️

Today marks the last day of my summer internship at NetJets! Over the past ten weeks, I wrote and published more than 25 articles for an internal audience of over 2,000 corporate employees and supported cross-departmental initiatives across the organization. I earned “Best Overall Presentation” for a cross-company case study and had the opportunity to volunteer at the Van Buren Center and assist with a Make-A-Wish Foundation event. I also visited Executive Jet Management, attended a Cincinnati Reds game with their intern cohort, experienced a Ferry Flight from KCMH to KCAK, and participated in a flight simulator session at FlightSafety International. Finally, to conclude the internship, I presented my capstone project featuring a data-driven content strategy informed by insights gathered from a Qualtrics survey I built and conducted. I’m thankful for the wide network of professionals I’ve had the chance to connect with and for the continuous development of my internal communication skills. This experience has been both meaningful and inspiring, and I’m excited to carry these lessons into my future. A huge thank you to Emily Stafford and my team for your constant encouragement, and to Annie Stammen and Lizzie Salemi for guiding and supporting the intern cohort every step of the way.
