It’s official — the Nevados Solar Training Site at North Carolina State University is now open! 🎉 This new facility marks a major step forward in our partnership with the NC Clean Energy Technology Center — creating a space where innovation, education, and hands-on experience come together to move solar forward. At Nevados, we believe technology should work with the land — not against it. Our TRACE All-Terrain Tracker makes that possible, enabling solar on slopes up to 37% while minimizing grading and environmental impact. “The TRACE All Terrain Tracker is remarkably fast to install and our recent installs with new partners further emphasize that point,” said Yezin Taha, CEO of Nevados. “It’s hard for installers to believe how quickly it can be constructed until they get their hands on it — so we thought, why not create a space where new customers can experience that for themselves? Our new training center at NC State gives developers, EPCs, and installers a hands-on ‘sandbox’ to learn our system in a real-world environment, right in the heart of a region where many of our customers are based.
