Bianca H., Class of 2022 Bianca H. was our first-ever intern in our Real-World Learning program. As part of her high school curriculum, she interned at a dentist’s office. After graduating, she enrolled in Emily Griffith Technical College’s Dental Assistant Certificate program. Julissa, Class of 2017 Julissa graduated in 2017 alongside her oldest daughter, Izzabella. After earning her social work degree from Metro State University, she returned to New Legacy to serve as our social worker. Did you know this fall marked TEN YEARS since we opened our doors? We are so proud of this milestone, and especially proud of our students who continue to inspire us with their passion and dedication. For ten years, we’ve been watching them forge pathways to a bright future for themselves and their children. Over the next two weeks, we’ll share some of their stories with you. None of our success would be possible without a community who are invested in the success of our students, supporting them as mentors, cheering them on, and celebrating their accomplishments.
