When transporting materials across a rooftop or job-site, we use wheeled carts to reduce strain, limit heavy lifting, and support body mechanics. On day 2 of 12 Days of Safety, we're focusing on one of the most important foundations of job-site safety - proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Every piece of PPE serves a specific purpose - protective headgear to prevent head injuries, eye-wear to shield against debris, high-visibility for awareness, and so on. Many tasks also require additional PPE not shown, such as steel-toe work boots, respirators for hazardous environments, hearing protection, fall-arrest gear, and chemical-resistant coverings.
