New York State is more than one city, one person, or one set of values. At NYSTEC, we are proud to do work that benefits New York communities, and we celebrate diversity across the state and its rich history. Did you know Buffalo, NY, was the first city in the United States to have widespread electrically lit streets? This was possible thanks to nearby Niagara Falls, which provided the necessary hydroelectric power and earned the city the nickname "City of Light." #NYS #WeLoveNY #NYSisMore

𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥: IgniteU NY 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐍𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐂 “We wanted to relay again how impactful it has been working with you as an industry partner in the NYSTEC Fellowship Program. "Two students were extremely helpful in researching Internet of Things, Cloud, and Edge Processing AI/ML related technologies, and offered great support to STEM courses provided later in the year. "One of these students followed on as a Quanterion Solutions Incorporated intern, improving our flagship STEM course where students build a smart doorbell using Raspberry Pi, cloud networking, and AI/ML applications. He also successfully upgraded the course to Raspberry Pi 5 and served as the main instructor for our July 2025 AFRL Ring and Run STEM course with 19 students, earning high praise from participants, AFRL leaders, and parents. "I hope this provides a testimony to the hard work you all do every day for these programs to not only develop our federal workforce but allow students to go from learning about something cool to moving forward to highly impactful, satisfying careers that benefit our local families and communities as well! "Thank you for this continued win-win partnership, and many other positive interactions with NYSTEC, and we look forward to the future!” Learn more about the IgniteU Fellowship Program at nystec.com/igniteu. #WorkforceDevelopment #STEM #Fellowship #SmallBusiness #Entrepreneur #Startup #Testimonial #AFRL

🔢 What is 1,523 x 4,583? 🔢 We bet you reached for a calculator, invented on this day in history by Auburn, NY, native, William S. Burroughs. His inspiration resulted from tedious calculations at his job at a bank. Burroughs received a patent for his innovation and within a year had produced 50 machines! #TechInnovations #NYSTEC
