OLIPOP was founded in 2017 by Ben Goodwin and David Lester. Ben and David have been working together for nearly a decade to find accessible solutions to bring the benefits of digestive health to as many consumers as possible. OLIPOP is a deliciously refreshing tonic that is crafted with prebiotics, botanicals and natural plant fiber to support your microbiome and benefit digestive health. We're on a mission to provide an affordable, delicious alternative to soda that delivers leading edge health benefits to mainstream consumers.     Our Scientific & Medical Affairs Team hit the road to Nashville for the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo: the biggest annual gathering of dietitians (RDNs) and one of our favorite events of the year!  This year we showed up bigger than ever: 🌟 Debuted our brand-new booth to bring OLIPOP to life in a whole new way  🌟 Shared the science behind our blend of functional ingredients and our latest research in metabolic health   🌟 Launched our digital Dietitian Toolkit, built to support RDNs with the what, why, and how behind OLIPOP (DM us if you're interested in receiving this!) 🌟 Co-sponsored an event hosted by the Retail RD Exclusive with our friends at the Global Prebiotic Association where we had the chance to connect with leading retailers in the health-forward grocery space  🌟 And of course...handed out over 1,000 cans of OLIPOP! 🥤 None of this would’ve been possible without the incredible collaboration across our team and the passionate support from our amazing community. #FNCE, you always remind us why we do what we do.     "Nothing always works and nothing never works." - Charles Darwin That's a proverb I keep coming back to as an approach to life and entrepreneurialism. It makes it difficult to answer “top ten secrets to building a brand” style questions – but I think it fits the truth better in terms of the mindset that helps to increase the chances of success and impact. For me, the real “secret” to building something with staying power is having a mission that you truly care about. Being an entrepreneur is exceedingly difficult, especially in beverage, but chasing a payout alone is unlikely to get you through the toughest situations - and still help you make the strongest decisions. That’s why my drive to create a positive change in nutrition and improve lives has been indispensable for me as the team has built OLIPOP PBC. I truly believe it's a false choice to have to pick between doing good in the world and making a profit. Our journey to positively impact consumer health at scale proves that when you create genuine value for society, people will reward you with their business. It's a different approach to capitalism, one where doing good and doing well are one and the same. I recently sat down for an interview with Mark Miller from Inc.
