Big Announcement!
On September 10th, Richard He from Openmart and the team at Clay are hosting a webinar on how to sell to the lower mid-market today, and we'll talk about how openmart x clay integration helps you easily reach SMB targets.

Clay just made their local leads data 10x better.
For anyone who has tried to source complete local leads lists in Clay before, you know that their Google Maps source was super incomplete.
It would rarely return the true number of results in a given radius, and at The Kiln we would always have to rely on an external data provider.
Their integration with Openmart is a MASSIVE unlock here. It can find thousands of results at a time, and provides more data on each company than the Google Maps integration could.
That, combined with Claygent Navigator, means you can extract local leads data easier and at a higher accuracy than any time in human history.
Interested to hear people's thoughts on this, especially those who have local businesses in their ICP ⬇️

Day 28: Openmart for Finding Decision Makers at Local Businesses
There are lots of companies that target local businesses in their campaigns. But the problem is, a lot of times getting valid information on those businesses and then finding valid email addresses at said businesses can be really tough.
You can use tools like Claude's Google Maps scraping tool, but there are some limitations on what you can customize and where you can target. And even if you get really good information, it can be hard to find email addresses for decision makers at those businesses.
So here's what we did:
- Set up a "find companies" search with OpenMart targeting gym owners that have ≤ 3 locations
- Used keyword exclusions for "yoga" "barre" and "pilates"
- Added an "find decisions makers" enrichment to get names, titles, and email addresses
And that's it!! Super easy workflow with awesome outputs.

🎯 Finding good SMB data is harder than it should be.
Clay now integrates with Openmart — bringing rich, real-time SMB data straight into your workflows!
Growth teams waste hours hunting through outdated directories and unverified contact lists. Meanwhile, the best local opportunities slip through the cracks because the data just isn't accessible.
With this new integration, you can:
📍 Search by city, zip code, or neighborhood
💻 Find the owner’s contact info for local businesses
🧠 Combine multiple keywords and locations in one go
🔎 Filter by website presence, number of Google reviews, and more
📊 Tap into Openmart’s deep SMB intelligence to surface the businesses that matter most
It’s fast, flexible, and built for teams who want to go beyond the usual lead lists and unlock real opportunity in local markets.

Most search optimization doesn’t actually work.
Why?
Because people don’t type structured queries anymore.
They type chaos.
At Openmart 1.0, we use lightweight AI agents to clean up the mess before we ever touch the database.
Every search we run through an ultra-fast intent classifier (<10ms) that figures out:
Is it a brand? (“Target”)
A category? (“plumber”)
A location? (“Brooklyn”)
Or a messy mix? (“pizza near Brooklyn Bridge”)
Then, we route it to the right fetcher:
Brands → canonical business index
Categories → semantic fan-out
Locations → city or map-aware filters
The result:
> More relevant results
> No wasted API calls
> Lower latency
> Happier users
Search is still hard—but AI agents make it feel effortless.

This webinar is not theoretical. We’ll cover:
