2025 Summer Intern Spotlight Series: Meet Thomas, A rising senior at Missouri University of Science and Technology, Thomas is learning the Superintendent ropes at the St. Charles County Department of Corrections renovation project. “While working with my mentor and superintendent, Dan, I’ve learned a lot about how to properly manage a project that’s constantly changing. This experience has given me the opportunity to know exactly what it is we’re building. Being on an active project site has helped to enhance my communication skills, as I’ve grasped a better understanding for how to coordinate with numerous subcontractors, how to identify hazards on the jobsite and how to read and interpret different aspects of the project’s floor plans.
