Painful periods can occur when pelvic structures become irritated or overloaded during your cycle. This can happen with: • Endometriosis → inflammatory flare-ups • Adenomyosis → thickened, irritated uterine muscle • Fibroids → increased pressure and heavier bleeding • Pelvic floor dysfunction → muscles unable to relax • Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome → heightened nerve sensitivity Understanding what’s happening inside the pelvis helps guide the right treatment - because period pain always has a cause. 💜 #chronicpainsupport #pelvicpainawareness #pelvichealth #womenshealth #chronicpainawareness #pelvichealth #pelvicpainawareness #pelvicpainaware #chronicpainaware #spoonielove #spoonie #chronicdisease #chronicpainsupport #chronicpainsucks #chronicpainflares #endometriosisawareness #endowarriors #endowarrior🎗 #pelvicpainsucks #chronicillness #painmanagementsolutions #endocommunity #endobelly #endometriosisawareness #endo #endoisreal #chronicpainwarrior #endoawarenessmonth #adenomyosis

Patients demanded a better way, our founder demanded a better way, a better way to treat pelvic pain is why we’re here.
About us
Persistent pelvic pain impacts 15% of women and 10% of men throughout their lifetime. This disease process has been misdiagnosed, undertreated, ignored, and silenced. There is a better way to provide the quality of life that our patients deserve. The better way is here. We believe that the millions of women and men who suffer from pelvic pain should have access to care that provides relief. We don’t believe “a glass of wine will fix it” or that “it’s all in your head”. We will never abandon you – and from leadership to the front office to every pelvic pain specialist you meet, so much of our team has been in your shoes and believes the pelvic pain patient deserves better. This belief is what unifies us all at Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine. Since 2017, PRM has provided an innovative solution to a health crisis that affects 15% of women and 10% of men. Persistent pelvic pain is often overlooked, untreated, and misguided. At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms. We offer a proprietary, simple, office-based procedure to treat the symptoms of chronic pelvic pain. The PRM Protocol™ consists of a series of pelvic nerve and muscle treatments to directly target inflammation in the pelvis and nerve pain. Depending on the condition causing your pelvic pain, other modalities may be needed in addition to our treatment.

Pelvic pain and women’s health conditions are more common than many realize. 💛 - Endometriosis may affect 20–35% of people with a uterus. - Adenomyosis can cause chronic abdominal and pelvic pain, as well as infertility. - Fibroids impact 70% of Caucasian women and 80% of women of African American ancestry, often causing pain, heavy periods, and fertility challenges. - Postpartum and menopause changes continue to affect pelvic comfort and function. Chronic pelvic pain affects roughly 15% of women and can present as abdominal or pelvic pain, painful intercourse, urinary symptoms, or infertility. These are only a few of the symptoms for each condition, but the truth is, no two experiences with pelvic pain are the same. 💛 These statistics show just how prevalent pelvic health challenges are, understanding them is the first step toward recognition, diagnosis, and effective care. 🌿 💜 #chronicpainsupport #pelvicpainawareness #pelvichealth #womenshealth #chronicpainawareness #pelvichealth #pelvicpainawareness #pelvicpainaware #chronicpainaware #spoonielove #spoonie #chronicdisease #chronicpainsupport #chronicpainsucks #chronicpainflares #endometriosisawareness #endowarriors #endowarrior🎗 #pelvicpainsucks #chronicillness #painmanagementsolutions #endocommunity #endobelly #endometriosisawareness #endo #endoisreal #chronicpainwarrior #endoawarenessmonth #adenomyosis

Holiday meals can slow digestion, and it’s not just the food itself. Between long travel days, salty meals, sugary desserts, and less-than-ideal bathroom access, Thanksgiving can create the perfect storm for constipation. Here’s why it happens: • Large, rich meals slow gastric emptying • High-salt dishes pull water from your gut → harder stools • Low-fiber options (stuffing, rolls, casseroles) reduce motility • Travel + sitting decreases blood flow and movement • Stress or hosting anxiety can tighten the pelvic floor • Dehydration from wine, cocktails, and coffee compounds everything Supporting your gut (and your pelvic floor) during the holidays starts with awareness. Small choices, hydration, fiber balance, gentle movement, can make a big difference the next day. 💜 #chronicpainsupport #pelvicpainawareness #pelvichealth #womenshealth #chronicpainawareness #pelvichealth #pelvicpainawareness #pelvicpainaware #chronicpainaware #spoonielove #spoonie #chronicdisease #chronicpainsupport #chronicpainsucks #chronicpainflares #endometriosisawareness #endowarriors #endowarrior🎗 #pelvicpainsucks #chronicillness #painmanagementsolutions #endocommunity #endobelly #endometriosisawareness #endo #endoisreal #chronicpainwarrior #endoawarenessmonth #adenomyosis

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is one of the most common gastrointestinal disorders, and for many patients, it shows up alongside pelvic pain conditions. Symptoms like cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea, or constipation can vary from day to day, making it tough to manage alone. IBS is a chronic condition, but with the right care plan, patients can find real relief and stability. At PRM, we help patients understand the root contributors to their symptoms and support them with evidence-based, whole-person care. If you’re navigating ongoing digestive discomfort, you don’t have to do it alone. 💜 #chronicpainsupport #pelvicpainawareness #pelvichealth #womenshealth #chronicpainawareness #pelvichealth #pelvicpainawareness #pelvicpainaware #chronicpainaware #spoonielove #spoonie #chronicdisease #chronicpainsupport #chronicpainsucks #chronicpainflares #endometriosisawareness #endowarriors #endowarrior🎗 #pelvicpainsucks #chronicillness #painmanagementsolutions #endocommunity #endobelly #endometriosisawareness #endo #endoisreal #chronicpainwarrior #endoawarenessmonth #adenomyosis

✨ Post-Holiday Reset ✨ The holidays can leave your body feeling tense, especially your pelvic muscles. Stress and busy days can make everything feel tighter than usual. A simple, gentle way to support your body: take 5 slow, deep breaths. Focus on lengthening your exhale and letting your nervous system settle. Pair this with light movement or a short stretch to help ease tension and bring back comfort. 💛 Small, mindful steps like this can make a big difference in how your body feels after the holidays. 💜 #chronicpainsupport #pelvicpainawareness #pelvichealth #womenshealth #chronicpainawareness #pelvichealth #pelvicpainawareness #pelvicpainaware #chronicpainaware #spoonielove #spoonie #chronicdisease #chronicpainsupport #chronicpainsucks #chronicpainflares #endometriosisawareness #endowarriors #endowarrior🎗 #pelvicpainsucks #chronicillness #painmanagementsolutions #endocommunity #endobelly #endometriosisawareness #endo #endoisreal #chronicpainwarrior #endoawarenessmonth #adenomyosis

✨ “I am no longer in pain.” Words we never take for granted. Hearing stories like this reminds us why compassionate, whole-picture pelvic pain care matters so much. After years of being dismissed and told symptoms were “normal,” this patient finally felt heard, and finally got answers. Dr. Abed’s approach is rooted in listening, validating, and connecting the dots that others overlook. When patients are treated as partners in their own care, everything changes, including the outcome. We’re incredibly grateful for the trust patients place in us, and we’re even more grateful to witness life-changing relief like this. 💜 💜 #chronicpainsupport #pelvicpainawareness #pelvichealth #womenshealth #chronicpainawareness #pelvichealth #pelvicpainawareness #pelvicpainaware #chronicpainaware #spoonielove #spoonie #chronicdisease #chronicpainsupport #chronicpainsucks #chronicpainflares #endometriosisawareness #endowarriors #endowarrior🎗 #pelvicpainsucks #chronicillness #painmanagementsolutions #endocommunity #endobelly #endometriosisawareness #endo #endoisreal #chronicpainwarrior #endoawarenessmonth #adenomyosis

Endometriosis and fertility can feel confusing, especially when imaging looks “normal” but something still isn’t right. In today’s video, Dr. Touchan breaks down exactly how endometriosis can impact fertility and why so many patients struggle to conceive without clear answers. Here’s what he explains: • Endo can physically distort reproductive anatomy, making it harder for the egg and sperm to meet • Inflammation creates a toxic pelvic environment that affects egg quality, sperm movement, and embryo development • Endometriomas and chronic inflammation can lower ovarian reserve over time • And yes, even mild or invisible endometriosis can impact fertility He also shares crucial guidance on when to seek fertility evaluation, the optimal pregnancy window after excision surgery, and how PRM’s pelvic floor + inflammation-focused protocol can support conception. If you’ve been trying to get pregnant and feel like something isn’t adding up, you’re not imagining it. You deserve real answers, real support, and a team that treats the whole picture. Watch the full insight from Dr. Touchan above. 💜 #chronicpainsupport #pelvicpainawareness #pelvichealth #womenshealth #chronicpainawareness #pelvichealth #pelvicpainawareness #pelvicpainaware #chronicpainaware #spoonielove #spoonie #chronicdisease #chronicpainsupport #chronicpainsucks #chronicpainflares #endometriosisawareness #endowarriors #endowarrior🎗 #pelvicpainsucks #chronicillness #painmanagementsolutions #endocommunity #endobelly #endometriosisawareness #endo #endoisreal #chronicpainwarrior #endoawarenessmonth #adenomyosis
