  • Pioneer is proud to support the Troy Turkey Trot, where nearly 7,500 runners and walkers raised a record $40,000 for the Regional Food Bank, Joseph's House & Shelter, and Unity House of Troy, marking the event’s largest turnout in over a decade. Schuyler Bull, CFMP, VP – Director of Marketing & Communications, highlighted Pioneer’s role as a longtime presenting sponsor and celebrated how the Turkey Trot brings the community together while supporting organizations doing meaningful work: the Regional Food Bank served 75,000 people and distributed over 350,000 meals during Thanksgiving; Joseph’s House provides “Code Blue” shelter each winter, helping more than 300 people stay safe from the cold; and Unity House, even after the recent fire, continues to support those in need, including people living in poverty, those affected by mental illness, people with HIV/AIDS, victims of domestic violence, and children with developmental delays.
