A closer look at our new visual identity. From a bold, modern typeface to a refreshed, vibrant color palette, we are excited about the countless ways we can apply this dynamic branding to all things Preiss. The icon is inspired by our notorious stylized “i” from our previous logo as a nod to our roots, but modernized to stand the test of time. Designed entirely in-house by our tenured Design team, this transformation was intentionally crafted to both celebrate our company’s history and represent our evolution and future in the housing industry.

For nearly four decades, The Preiss Company has been a trusted name in student housing. Over the past 38 years, we've earned a reputation for excellence, innovation, and passion, recognized by both renters and industry partners alike. As our company has evolved, we knew it was time for our brand to evolve with us. Today, we're proud to introduce our refreshed identity, now as Preiss. Along with the new name comes a bold, modern look that better reflects who we are today and where we’re headed in the future. This rebrand is more than just a visual update. It represents our continued dedication to leading the housing industry, staying ahead of the curve, and creating spaces where residents and communities thrive. Palatine Capital Partners is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hoffler Place, a 258-bed, purpose-built student housing property in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Delivered in 2019, the property serves students from the College of Charleston and Medical University of South Carolina, and is managed by The Preiss Company. Located on vibrant King Street, Hoffler Place offers modern finishes, premium amenities — including a rooftop pool, fitness center, and study lounges — and walkable access to campus.
