The Rainbow Village staff celebrated our Family Engagement Coordinator Olivia Sheridan’s upcoming nuptials at our staff meeting last month. During the meeting, we completed a team-building activity called Beyond: 'I Do” that focused on building stronger bonds through active listening and reflection. We also played a This-or-That game to see how well we all knew Olivia, and we wrote notes of congratulations and advice for the couple. They will be celebrating their wedding THIS WEEKEND! Shout out to our amazing and TALENTED partners at Everly Design Co, led by founder Ricci Taylor. In October, Ricci and her team reached out to us with the hope of blessing a recent graduate with home furnishings and a full redesign of their new home. We immediately thought of alumni Shakia for her outstanding performance in our ASPIRE program, her active involvement in THRIVE, and her clear need that aligned perfectly with this opportunity. We’re thrilled to celebrate Shakia, who was beyond thrilled at the reveal of her beautiful apartment remodel, and we’re grateful to Everly Design for creating a warm, welcoming space for Shakia and her family as they continue building a new chapter with confidence and pride.
