Full house for Redesign Health's very first Women Founders Exchange in New York! Last night, Sarah Cranston, Samantha Lynch, Katie O'Neill, and Mie Graham hosted an intimate, invite-only gathering of a standout group of women — founders, operators, and investors working through the realities of AI, regulation, go-to-market, and care delivery in healthcare. The conversations ranged from the challenges of scaling in a complex system to the opportunities unlocked by AI and data. We’re pleased to share a major milestone for Thrivory! Thrivory has raised $3.5M in seed funding to advance real-time, non-recourse payments for healthcare providers. With the newly raised capital, in addition to up to $25M in credit funding, Thrivory will strengthen its offerings to help providers eliminate reimbursement delays through instant, non-recourse claims settlement. Thrivory has also launched the new ThriveNow API, which brings same-day claim payments directly into EHR and practice management workflows. Providers can now receive payment immediately after submitting a claim, without taking on debt or changing how they operate. This brings real-time reimbursement closer to the point of care and into the systems clinicians already use. Redesign Health is proud to support Thrivory, together with Trinity Capital, as the company scales its platform and works with more partners across healthcare. We’re excited to welcome Tariq Alturkestani to the Redesign Health KSA founder community! Tariq joins as Founder and CEO of a new venture at the intersection of AI, health, and insurance, built in partnership with Redesign Health. A Saudi entrepreneur and technologist, Tariq brings a unique blend of technical depth and leadership experience. As the former Co-founder and CEO of Saee Solutions for Logistics Services, he scaled the company into one of the Kingdom’s leading logistics players before its successful acquisition. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology), and plays an active role in advancing the region’s entrepreneurship ecosystem through mentorship and leadership at Taqadam, Oqal, and EO Accelerator. We had a great week at the Global Health Exhibition - ملتقى الصحة العالمي, reflecting our continued commitment to advancing the healthcare and AI ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. Here were some highlights: 🔹Alongside His Excellency Fahad AlJalajel, Minister of Health, we announced our commitment to fund up to 20 healthcare startups in digital health and AI across the Kingdom. 🔹We signed several key MOUs to deepen partnerships and drive innovation: ▫️With the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia, strengthening our role as a key partner for healthcare investment in KSA.  ▫️With Tawuniya, to co-develop and build AI-driven companies in health insurance. ▫️With Fakeeh Care Group, to support startup creation in the healthcare provider space. 🔹Furthermore, nuxera AI (a Sanabil Studio by Redesign Health portfolio company) signed multiple MOUs, including one with Meena Health, to integrate AI technologies into digital healthcare delivery. 🔹Our team was proud to join the Ministry of Health Datathon as presenters and judges, engaging with the founders and innovators shaping the future of healthcare. We’re excited to announce the launch of Corvus Health, led by Ian Strug, designed to transform how surgical referrals are managed across health systems. Fewer than 40% of patient referrals today convert into surgeries. Corvus addresses this gap by automating core administrative tasks such as document retrieval, prior-authorisation coordination, and cost estimation, while also applying advanced logic to assess each patient’s surgical eligibility. The result is faster scheduling, greater efficiency, and better use of operating capacity. Startups such as Hyro and Prosper AI are helping care teams cut call times by up to 90%, with the race now centred on customer acquisition speed 💻 Big tech is moving deeper into healthcare. Google, Microsoft and Palantir have developed solutions for hospitals and clinicians, signalling their willingness to move beyond infrastructure 🧠 Clinical AI is gaining ground. New diagnostic tools, sensors and home testing are expanding innovation into regulated areas of care where moats may be more defensible 📊 Data has outpaced delivery. Providers have access to unprecedented insight, yet systems and incentives need to evolve to keep pace and take action on those insights at scale 💊 Pharma is setting the benchmark. We heard how Amgen and BMS have embedded AI into daily operations and are leveraging new AI agents for core business processes 🏥 Health systems are seeing measurable gains. Documentation, prior authorisation and revenue cycle management are leading early success stories, with triage and staffing close behind Across HLTH USA, one phrase captured the new reality: "Momentum is the moat."
