Recently, staff members from Room & Board’s Central Headquarters had the privilege of visiting the Hmong Museum and Hmong Village. This experience gave staff a deeper understanding of Hmong culture and history, highlighting stories of resilience: the Hmong community’s experiences during the war, their journey to the U.S. 50 years ago and the challenges they faced upon arrival. These narratives reminded us of the strength and meaning of “home” through times of transition. This year was extra special as our team joined the planning committee and helped prepare for this incredible evening.
