In a culture where mental health is often overlooked, yesterday’s trauma healing session at St. Paul Memorial ACK Church Ranalo brought together 70 caregivers for a powerful moment of honesty, healing, and support. Both women and men bravely shared their struggles, from family pressures to cultural expectations, with men even forming a weekly support network to walk the journey together. One mother celebrated a breakthrough as her teenage son, who had been defiant and out of school, received counseling and agreed to return to school. In 1 Thessalonians 3, we see Paul’s deep concern for the believers’ spiritual well-being. Separated by distance, but not by love, Paul sends Timothy to strengthen and encourage them in their faith. This chapter reminds us that true leadership cares deeply, not just about growth, but about perseverance. Paul wasn’t content knowing the Thessalonians had heard the gospel; he longed to see them rooted, unshaken by suffering, and thriving in love and holiness.
