Empower women & children in poverty through faith, education, and entrepreneurship. Forbes, Fox News, #StrongerTogether
About us
Breaking the cycle of poverty through women-led sustainable business and technology. ROSE partners with women and girls in extremely low-income communities in East Africa. We leverage technology & innovation to uplift communities from poverty. Business education, pitch competitions, and micro-investments we are building self-sustained women entrepreneurs. We started as one community of hundreds of women entrepreneurs in Nairobi, Kenya. Our founder, Allie Amoroso first came to Kenya as a college student and chose to leave a career in startup technology to invest in the most vulnerable and exploited female entrepreneurs. We partner with family foundations, individuals, private sector, startups, and government agencies to provide education and access to capital and technology to women and children escaping poverty around the world. Support ROSE by becoming an advisor to our leadership team and directly connect with entrepreneurs in Kenya. Invest by making a donation online at rosewomensfoundation.org/donate and give a mother the chance to change her life and the lives of the next generation. Join us! Genesis 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. God says this after Sarah laughs at the promise of a child in old age. It’s a reminder that God’s power isn’t limited by our timelines, age, or circumstances. He keeps His word in His time. Where have you laughed in disbelief lately? Bring that very place to God. His question still stands: Is anything too hard for the Lord? Short prayer: “Lord, renew my faith where I’ve grown doubtful. Help me trust Your timing and Your promise. Amen.” #GodsLove #WomenInBusiness #Gospel #WomenEmpowerment #charity #womenwholift

In a culture where mental health is often overlooked, yesterday’s trauma healing session at St. Paul Memorial ACK Church Ranalo brought together 70 caregivers for a powerful moment of honesty, healing, and support. Both women and men bravely shared their struggles, from family pressures to cultural expectations, with men even forming a weekly support network to walk the journey together. One mother celebrated a breakthrough as her teenage son, who had been defiant and out of school, received counseling and agreed to return to school. The strongest takeaway was the heartfelt call for more regular mental health talks, proving this was more than a session, it was the beginning of a stronger, more supportive community committed to healing and hope. #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalwellbeing #mentalhealthmatters

Devotion Reflection – Psalm 15 “Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?” – Psalm 15:1 Psalm 15 reminds us that closeness with God requires a life of integrity. Those who walk blamelessly, do what is right, speak truth from the heart, and treat others with love are the ones who enjoy His presence. God calls us to live honestly, avoiding slander, keeping our promises even when it’s hard, showing compassion to the poor, and standing against injustice. When we live this way, we reflect His character and remain unshaken, secure in His presence no matter what life brings. Let us strive to be people of truth, righteousness, and faithfulness, so we may dwell with Him always. #Gospel #WomenInBusiness #WomenEmpowerment #GodsLove #Psalms15

Day 1 TOT Devotion – Genesis 1 “In the beginning, God created…” Purpose: God started with intention, so do we. Order: He brought light out of chaos, step by step, we’ll grow. Image: We carry His DNA, to multiply what we learn. Goodness: He called it good; we’ll celebrate every step. ✨ Takeaway: Today is our Genesis, our beginning. Let’s shine His light and multiply impact! Prayer: Lord, as You began creation with purpose, begin this TOT with Your Spirit. Amen. #charity #WomenInBusiness #Gospel

Devotion Reflection – Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Today’s devotion reminds us that no matter the trials we face, God’s plans for us are filled with hope and purpose. Just as Paul encouraged the early believers to stand firm in faith, we too are called to remain steadfast, trusting that God is guiding our steps. True leadership and love mean walking with others through their challenges, checking in, encouraging, and praying for them. God’s promise in Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that even when life feels uncertain, His intentions toward us are good and full of grace. Let’s be people who build each other up, heart to heart, faith to faith, reminding one another that our future is secure in His hands. #Gospel #WomenInBusiness #WomenEmpowerment #GodsLove

Devotion Reflection – 1 Thessalonians Chapter 3 Today’s devotion called us to stand firm in faith, no matter the trials we face. In 1 Thessalonians 3, we see Paul’s deep concern for the believers’ spiritual well-being. Separated by distance, but not by love, Paul sends Timothy to strengthen and encourage them in their faith. This chapter reminds us that true leadership cares deeply, not just about growth, but about perseverance. Paul wasn’t content knowing the Thessalonians had heard the gospel; he longed to see them rooted, unshaken by suffering, and thriving in love and holiness. It’s a challenge to us, too: to care for others beyond the surface, to check in, to encourage, and to pray earnestly for their walk with God. May we, like Paul, be people who lift others up, who send strength through our words and presence, and who find joy when others stand strong in Christ. Even in hardship, let’s keep building each other up, heart to heart, faith to faith. #gospel #womeninbusiness #womenempowerment #Godslove
