Exciting news out West today: we’re strengthening our Idaho footprint with 900 MW of new solar + storage projects. rPlus Energies has acquired two major solar + storage projects in Ada County, Idaho, bringing 900 MW of new capacity to our work in the state. Alongside Pleasant Valley Solar 1 & 2, these projects reflect more than $1.4 billion in planned investment and a growing portfolio of 1.2 gigawatts of homegrown power in Idaho. “Idaho represents one of the most exciting frontiers for energy in the American West,” said Luigi Resta, President & CEO of rPlus Energies. “Through these projects, we’re investing in the communities that are powering the region’s next generation of growth.” Bobbi-Jo Meuleman, President & CEO of the Boise Metro Chamber, added, “Idaho is proving that economic growth and responsible energy development go hand in hand.
