  • Meet the student entrepreneurs turning compost into commerce! This #WorldEntrepreneursDay, we’re proud to spotlight our Year 12 #SamsungSolve for Tomorrow National Winners, Princeton High School. These bright students launched a biotech solution using black soldier fly larvae to transform food waste into usable products, earning them first place in the STEM competition! But they didn’t stop there. The team took their project to the next level with “Science to Startup,” a club that applies the STEM research they uncovered on a real-world scale. Today, Princeton High School continues to find more sustainable uses for the black soldier fly and has even ventured into the world of sustainable soap-making. Check out what they’ve been up to since winning our nationwide #STEM competition.

  • This week’s Story of Impact is about the lifesaving power of blood donation. For American Red Cross North Texas Region finance director Kenisha Harding, 12 units of donated blood meant the difference between life and death when she started to bleed internally after giving birth to her son. Today, 23 years later, she and her family are passionate about donating blood to help others who may end up in a similar situation as hers. “We do it because we know these blood donations allowed me to be alive, to be a mom, to work for an organization that saves lives every day,” Kenisha says. “I am thankful every day that I get to watch my son grow up and I want to make sure others have that opportunity.” At Samsung, we’re proud to have supported the American Red Cross through disaster relief efforts over the years and now through consistent employee blood drives nationwide. In 2024 and 2025 alone, Samsung employees have donated hundreds of units of blood, each one with the potential to save lives just like Kenisha’s. We’re proud to stand with the American Red Cross, because behind every donation, could be someone’s second chance. #AmericanRedCross #EnablingPeople
