It is with overwhelming pride and joy that I share some truly incredible news. My partner in life and in business, Sheree Thomas, has been named the 2025 Small Business Person of the Year for the state of Pennsylvania by the U.S. Small Business Administration! This is a tremendous honor that reflects not just Sheree’s professional excellence, but her personal strength, resilience, and integrity. Sheree built her business from the ground up, starting as a one-woman operation with a single client. She entered a male-dominated industry with no shortcuts, no backing - just grit, determination, and an unwavering belief in doing things the right way. She has broken barriers, built a successful business, and, just as importantly, inspired others (especially women) to believe they can do the same. Sheree will accept this award on May 5th at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., alongside honorees from the other 49 states, D.C., Puerto Rico and Gaum. She is also a finalist for the National Small Business Person of the Year award. There are 1.1 million small businesses in Pennsylvania alone. And yet, Sheree’s story stands out as a true example of the American entrepreneurial spirit. It is a reminder that good old fashioned hard work and integrity still matter.
