School of Rock is proud to support the Play Without Limits Project LLC as they work to open doors for kids who deserve every chance to shine. Their mission is rooted in something we believe deeply: every child should have access to experiences that help them grow, connect, and thrive. Since 2022, PWLP has helped more than 1,040 young people attend programs in sports, music, and academics—including full scholarships for School of Rock Performance Program students across cities like NYC, Denver, Pasadena, and Dallas. This is what happens when members from School of Rock, Sum41, The World Alive, and girlfriends all walk into Vans Warped Tour 🤘 This summer, our House Bands hit the stage at Vans Warped Tour alongside our friends at Loyal to the Craft, representing schools from across the country to perform at Vans Warped Tours in Washington DC, Long Beach, and Orlando. The energy was unreal. At Warped Tour in DC, our students to meet and chat with Nick Gross of girlfriends and Goldfinger—an unforgettable moment for any young musician. Over in Long Beach, our students unleashed their cover of The Word Alive's “Hounds of Anubis” with TWA drummer Devin Attard watching from the crowd. By the finale, he jumped on stage to play alongside them. At Warped Tour Orlando, Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 couldn’t resist joining our students to tear through "The Hell Song." At each tour, crowds froze mid-step, stunned that the musicians commanding the stage were kids. As the sets kept rolling, the tent only got louder, fuller, and more fired up. None of this happens without the dedication of our School of Rock teams, the passion of our students, and the professionalism of Loyal to the Craft. Watching our musicians rise to the moment, seeing their hard work come alive on a major festival stage, it was electric, inspiring, and something truly special. School of Rock students rocked FOUR incredible Run Travis Run events this year! In September, School of Rock Chicago kicked things off, setting up the stage, relaxing a bit, and then diving into our set. The students learned new pop-punk favorites, including Blink-182’s First Date, and the crowd was singing along! Watching our musicians shine on a stage full of energy was a confidence boost they’ll never forget. Next stop, Palm Desert, CA! School of Rock Temecula were thrilled to see Travis’s influence firsthand. One of our drummers even got to meet him and shake his hand! The kids played their hearts out and left inspired by the experience of performing for such a big moment. School of Rock Las Vegas brought a truly unforgettable experience. Our students jammed with Nick Gross, drummer of girlfriends, and got a one-on-one motivational chat about life on tour. Then came the surprise of the night: Travis Barker performed live! Some students even got to hang out with him afterward and snag an autograph. Ash said it best: “This show was amazing, I can't believe I got to hang with Travis Barker!” School of Rock West LA then wrapped up the tour in Santa Monica on the 3rd Street Promenade, bringing all the energy we could muster to our final performance. The smiles, the music, and the memories made it a perfect way to close out an incredible series of shows. School of Rock has officially made its grand opening debut in the UK! 🎸⚡️ We kicked things off just steps from Eel Pie Island, the birthplace of so many British rock legends, and opened the doors to a flagship school that feels right at home in the heart of rock history. Inside the restored 1904 Grade II listed building, guests explored 14 purpose-designed rooms and three immersive performance spaces that took them on a journey through the eras of British rock. Our first UK student performance group and instructors lit up the stage, proving that the next generation of rock and roll has already arrived. Families, fans, partners, and the Eel Pie Island Museum team joined us in celebrating a moment that blends heritage with what’s ahead. Stacey Ryan, President of School of Rock, attended the grand opening as we marked a milestone 27 years in the making. With 432 schools and more than 70,000 students worldwide, expanding into the UK is a chapter we’ve been building toward, and the energy in the room made it clear we’re just getting started.
