Tomorrow, September 5, we’re covering the first cup of coffee for 4,000 customers at local shops in and around Blythewood. Each cup represents something bigger: the 4,000 jobs we’re creating at our new Production Center and the opportunity, connection, and pride we’re building alongside this incredible community. Participating coffee shops include:   Bloomin Bean Coffee Bar (Blythewood)  Piecewise Coffee Company (Cayce & Columbia)  Curiosity Coffee Bar (Richland Library & North Main)  Azalea Coffee Bar (Columbia) (One cup per customer. Before we build our vehicles, we’re building strong and capable teams.  This week marked our first round of pre-hire assessment and interview events in partnership with readysc - SC Technical College System, focused on building the team of skilled maintenance professionals who will help install and maintain equipment in our Scout Motors Production Center. Our team truly enjoyed meeting the local talent ready to roll up their sleeves and join us on this bold journey.  The energy, pride, and passion we witnessed reaffirmed that we’re building something special.
